Best months to ski
With a fantastic long ski season across Europe and Canada, there are so many opportunities to take a great ski or snowboard holiday. To help you decide when to go, we have put together some highlights per month:
January ski holidays
What better way to get rid of the January-blues then to book yourself a skiing or snowboarding holiday. Take yourself off for a fun-packed and quiet, queue free piste week away out on the snowy slopes of Europe or Canada.
February ski holidays
The weather has slightly warmed and the days have grown longer meaning February is a great time to make the most of the slopes and head out for a ski trip, ideally during half-term for a family fun-filled week with the children.
March ski holidays
By March the sun is usually shining stronger and the snow is deep, making it the perfect time of year to slip on yours skis (or snowboard) and enjoy the start of spring out on the mountains.
April ski holidays
Welcoming in the longer and brighter days and the joys of Easter, heading out to ski towards the end of the season is fantastic - make the most of being in resort at this time of year with outdoor cafes and après ski.
November ski holidays
It may seem early in the ski season to be heading out on the slopes, however with our resorts in Lapland, close to the Arctic Circle, where the snow settles nearly all year round, it's a great opportunity to get ahead of the rest.
December ski holidays
A wonderfully festive time of year to be away on a skiing holiday, in a resort surrounded by Christmas decorations and lively markets. With plenty of resorts offering fantastic snow conditions at this time of year, it is the perfect winter escape.
