The traditional Hotel Post has a storied past - it occupies the site of the Weissen Oschsen Inn, frequented by iconic figures like Mozart and Haydn. The high ceilings of the hotel's spacious and elegantly designed rooms reflect traditional Viennese architecture. Enjoy excellent breakfasts, coffee on the terrace, and a location that puts you at the centre of the action.

Close to the historic city centre

Located in Vienna's beautiful historic city centre, you'll have easy access to many of the city's famous attractions - St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Vienna State Opera, and the Hofburg Palace are all close by. There are parks and gardens across the city, offering plenty of opportunities to escape the hustle and bustle. For shoppers, the Kärntner Straße Shopping Boulevard is just 800 meters away.

The city is easy to navigate on foot - it's reasonably flat and with several pedestrianised areas. There's also an excellent network of public transport, with buses, trams, and the U-bahn all making easy work of exploring the city.
