This high quality residence enjoys one of the best ski-in ski-out location in the resort, being in a quiet part of Flaine Forêt yet only 2 minutes’ walk to the centre of the village. Offering ultimate skiing convenience and a wide range of facilities, the Terrasses de Véret is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday.

Ski apartments

The modern and comfortable apartments have an ideal location in Flaine Forêt, the centre of the resort is only a two minute walk where you can find a range of shops, bars and restaurants serving classic Savoyard dishes, bistro dishes and quick bites such as burgers and paninis - perfect for the days when you don't feel like cooking.  Each apartment has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven, hot plates, toaster, fridge and kettle, as well as a dining area, living room and fantastic views across the resort.

For the keen skiers and boarders, the residence has a piste side location making it incredibly easy to get first lifts each day. The Grand Vans lift takes you up the mountain where you have access to a range of runs and fun parks including the Tourmaline blue run which has a number of jumps, you can also access Samoëns, Morillon and Les Carroz from the Grand Vans lift.

Unwind and relax

After a day of exploring the slopes, make the most of the heated indoor swimming pool and the outdoor jacuzzi where you can enjoy wonderful views of the resort and surrounding landscape.  The apartments also have a residence lounge, it is a great spot to catch up with family and friends in front of the fire.

Flaine

  • Buy one get one half price lift pass offer on selected dates
  • Resort altitude of 1,600 metres
  • Over 160 kilometres of slopes
  • Skiing to 2,500 metres

Flaine is a mountain resort famed for its monumental outdoor sculptures by artists such as Pablo Picasso and its concrete buildings inspired by the Bauhaus style of the 1960s, many of which house ski-in/ski-out accommodation. It's the only 1960s-era ski resort to be classified a French Historical Monument. Flaine is a really friendly, casual, and family-oriented resort with excellent value and facilities. It has a compact centre with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. There are plenty of off-piste activities such as swimming, ice skating and a cultural centre with an art gallery that features the work of local and international artists.

Skiing and snowboarding in Flaine

The majority of the skiing is in a large snow bowl, which offers incredible views of Mont Blanc and superb skiing for all abilities. It's also possible to explore the tree-lined runs leading down to the nearby resorts of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, and Sixt with the Grand Massif Lift Pass. The blue Cascades piste is one of the longest pistes in the Alps, descending down into the historic Haut Savoyard village of Sixt Fer-à-Cheval. For advanced skiers, get the Grandes Platieres bubble and follow the signs to the Diamant Noir run, a demanding and steep black run.

Where to stay in Flaine

We offer a selection of accommodation in Flaine Forum and Foret, many of which have easy access to the slopes and resort facilities. If you're looking for a self-catered residence with stunning views of the surrounding pine forests, look no further than the Residence at Montsoleil which features both the Terrasses d'Eos and Terrasses d'Helios Apartments. If you're prefer a more laid back holiday with half board meals included with your stay, as well as doorstep skiing, we'd highly recommend checking out the unique and stylish Hotel Totem, known for it's modern décor and great service.

Bars and restaurants in Flaine

Flaine has a number of bars and restaurants dotted around, both on and off the mountain. There's a variety of shepherd huts on the mountain serving Savoyard specialities, we recommend sampling the fondue in Le Michet. For an after ski drink head to Le White Pub which often has live music and a variety of beers to choose from.
