Hotel Les Sherpas is a family run hotel that's located amongst the pine trees on the outskirts of the Courchevel 1850 village, and a five minute walk from the Jardin Alpin gondola giving you fantastic access to the beginners area. 

Relax and unwind

The hotel's cosy saloon bar, with a log fireplace, is the perfect place for an après-ski drink. Unwind after a day on the slopes and head to the hotels spa area which features a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Relax in the indoor pool and admire the view from the panoramic windows looking onto the snowy surroundings. You can also treat yourself to a massage or treatment to truly unwind after a day on the slopes.

Great views

As the hotel is tucked away in the corner of Courchevel, you have incredible views from most areas of the hotel. Enjoy your meals with a panoramic mountain view through the large windows, which creates a bright dining area. The rooms are bright and comfortable, decorated in traditional Alpine décor and most of the rooms also have terraces or balconies so you can marvel at the stunning surroundings.

Family friendly

This hotel is perfect if you have children. Not only is 1850 perfect for those just learning or wanting to improve their confidence, the hotel also has a games room fully stocked with puzzles, board games and video games. Early dinner from 6.30pm is also a possibility, just let us know at the time of booking if you require this.

Courchevel is truly a world class ski resort, located in the renowned Three Valleys Ski Area; with over 600km of slopes you won't be short of pistes to explore during your holiday. Snow cover is more or less guaranteed throughout the winter season given the altitude of the resort. We have accommodation in three of the six villages, so there's plenty of options. Whether you have been skiing for decades or this is your first time on the slope you will enjoy the diversity of the runs throughout Courchevel itself and in the wider ski area. 

Sensational skiing in Courchevel

One of the most prestigious ski resorts in Europe, Courchevel is apart of the wider Three Valleys Ski Area; the largest linked ski area. With 600km of marked pistes you won't have to do the same run twice. Beginners will enjoy the ZEN areas which have gentle slopes and will allow you to practice your turns and technique, while the experts can enjoy the vast number of red and black runs throughout the resort. 

Where to stay in Courchevel

Courchevel is made up of six villages, each with their own distinct charm and character. We have accommodation in three of the villages, choose between luxury apartments in 1850, traditional alpine hotels or family friendly options. 

Courchevel Village 1550

Courchevel Village 1550 is the original Courchevel hamlet, it has a more laid back atmosphere and is the most popular option for families. The Hotel Les Flocons is a great option if you are looking for a hotel on the snow front. There's convenient access to the slopes and the wider Three Valleys Ski Area via the Tovets chairlift and Grangettes gondola, which stays open until midnight so you can explore the nightlife in Courchevel 1850 if you wish to. Off of the slopes there's also a 2.5km toboggan run and aquamotion swimming pool and spa complex to keep you occupied. 

Courchevel Moriond (1650)

Sitting just above is Courchevel Moriond (1650), a more traditional village with its own superb linked ski area, and access to a number of gentle green and blue slopes. The centre of Moriond village is based along the main road linking Courchevel Village with Courchevel, you'll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurant strung out along the village.

Courchevel 1850

Courchevel 1850 is the highest resort and is renowned for its glitz and glamour, it has a wide selection of fine hotels, designer boutiques and a buzzing nightlife. Whether you want to stay in luxury apartments or traditional alpine hotels, you're close to the action.

Bars and restaurants in Courchevel

Courchevel is a lively area with a variety of restaurant and après options. There are numerous fine dining establishments in and around the resort, with 13 Michelin stars across eight restaurants. For the less gourmet options, there's also numerous pizzerias and restaurants serving traditional alpine dishes. On the mountain, there's a lot of restaurants dotted around the ski area for that well deserved mid-morning hot chocolate and lunch break. 

If you are after a resort renowned for its apres ski, look no further. Courchevel has some great spots to enjoy after a day on the mountain, whether you want to dance on the tables in La Folie Douce or want a more laid back drink with live music you can find somewhere to suit you.

Snow Floor Rooms sleep two people and are around 23m². These rooms are located on the ground floor so will have a terrace area on the private snow front. Please note that these rooms are only accessible by stairs. 

Comfort Rooms sleep one to three people and are between 23-25m². These rooms are located on the first floor and have either a private terrace or balcony.

Deluxe Rooms sleep one to three people and are approximately 25m². These rooms are located on the second or third floor of the hotel, and have a south or west facing  balcony.

Interconnecting rooms are made up of two double comfort or deluxe rooms creating a perfect family room.

Meals

The hotel offers a cold continental buffet breakfast and hot options including eggs and omelettes cooked to order each morning.

The evening meal consists of soup, starter, main course, cheese and dessert. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and traditional, the dishes on offer are inspired by global flavours and the Savoyard surroundings. Savoyard specialities are also available - this includes soup, Savoyard speciality dish and dessert (additional fees may apply).

Early evening meals are available for children from 6.30pm.

Christmas and New Years Eve gala meals are included.
