The centre of Livigno is a short walk away and the nearest bus stop is only 100 metres away so you can get further afield if you want. If you want to try something different, try out one of the hotel's weekly activities - the guided snow shoeing is a fun day out.

Ideal location

The Hotel Lac Salin has a lovely location a short walk away from the main centre of Livigno, where you can find a range of vibrant bars, cafes and restaurants - getting onto the slopes couldn't be easier, the Doss lift is just opposite the hotel and you can venture further afield via the resort bus. Taking the Skilink bus means you can easily get between the two sides of Livigno in only five minutes, there are two routes running between the main lift stations throughout the season.

Local produce

Start your day off at the varied breakfast buffet with tasty pastries, breads, Alpine butter and jams, eggs, local cheeses and sausages. When you return from a day of snowy adventures, you can enjoy a delicious four course evening meal with unique recipes featuring Italian and international cuisine, lovingly prepared with local produce. The majority of ingredients are sourced from Livigno or the Valtellina valley, including milk from the alpine pastures, yogurt and cheese from the local dairy and sausage specialities from the La Tresenda farm. Over 450 fine wines from different regions of Italy are stored in the La Cantina wine cellar, with a focus on wines from the Valtellina valley - be sure to ask the restaurant team for their recommendations. New for Winter 2024/25 is the hotels vegetarian & vegan restaurant which is a sensory experience and an opportunity to taste flavors like never before.

Wellness and relaxation

There is nowhere better to rejuvenate than the hotels own extensive spa area. Have a dip in the pool and admire the panoramic views of Livigno, or unwind in the whirlpool before soothing any achy ski legs in one of the various saunas and then finish your spa session in the saltwater pool. There's also two relaxation rooms, perfect for a moment of peace and quiet. For the ultimate treat, massages and treatments are also available for a little extra fee.
