Horse Excursions in Lapland
Enjoying a horse back-ride (or perhaps a sleigh ride) is a gentle way to take in your surroundings whilst in Lapland. The local horses to Lapland are strong and loving creatures, who wouldn’t turn their nose up at a little snack if offered. Together, you and the horses can take a memorable ride around the local forests and breathe in the wonderfully fresh air.
You can either opt to go for a horse ride, or if you would prefer to huddle up warmly as a family, you can enjoy a sleigh ride instead.

What’s included in a Horse excursion:
Enjoy the winter magic whilst riding along snowy forest trails. With a rose tinted sky being seen through the snow-laden trees, you will get the feeling of an enchanted journey on horseback.
A perfect experience for both beginner and experienced riders, you will warm up after your hack with a hot drink and cookie. You may also choose to sit back and relax in a one horse open sleigh under the starry night sky, being in search of the Northern Lights.

Please note: Available in Levi only. Suitable for beginners. Advanced riders will have their own group. Children under 9 yrs must be experienced. Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years and over.
- Beginner horse riding experience available for adults and children (9-12 years old), no experience required.
- Intermediate horse-riding experience available for adults and children (7 – 12 years old), previous experience required.
