Hotel Stella's a family run hotel in the centre of Selva. A really elegant and beautifully decorated hotel, run by the Demez family, this is the perfect spot for an activity filled mountain getaway. 

Easy access to Dolomite walking trails

When you stay at the Stella you get free use of the Costabella chairlift which is right behind the hotel. It means you have no excuse not to head up to the fantastic Dolomite mountain trails. From the top of the lift you can head along a trail that leads to the Dantercepies gondola or you can take the easy walk all the way to the Vallungha which has the most incredible views.

Activities for the whole family

If you're looking for a hotel that will help you find all the activities on offer in the Val Gardena, this is a great choice. The hotel makes accessing local activity programmes easy by offering discounts to the Val Gardena Active programme. You can also get to know Selva from a different perspective, by hiring a bike for discounted rates. They'll even give you a Mobilcard which means you can hop around the South Tyrol region using free public transport.

For breakfast you'll have a hot and cold buffet selection as well as the option of some hot dishes from an a la carte menu.

Dinner will be a delicious five course meal with various choices, including a salad buffet. The hotel prides itself on its delicate portions and use of high-end ingredients such as wild guinea fowl and the occasional more 'out-there' ingredient such as eel! Each course packs a culinary punch and the menus are thoughtfully put together to create an unforgettable gourmet experience. This is a fantastic hotel to choose if gourmet tasting-style menus are right up your street. The hotel also has an extensive wine selection for you to choose from and enjoy with your meal.
