Explore the sights of the Jungfrau from Grindelwald

Grindelwald lies in the valley beneath the Eiger mountain and is the perfect base for seeing all the best bits of the local area and immersing yourself in this world of adventure. Take a day trip to the Jungfraujoch and view Europe's longest glacier from above and within. Or, head to Grindelwald First and zoom down the zip lines, try mountain carting or walk the spectacular cliff walk. With around 500 kilometres of walking routes to discover, there's something to suit leisurely strollers or keen hikers, and you can add up to two Inghams guided walks per week in Grindelwald too (subject to availability, terms and conditions apply).

Visit the Matterhorn village of Zermatt

Originally a farming town, Zermatt was made famous when mountaineering became popular and brave pioneers were setting out to climb the Matterhorn. Holidays here are still all about getting up high, into the mountains, but it's a lot easier now, thanks to the network of lifts and mountain railways. Take Europe's highest cable car up to Klein Matterhorn and visit the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, or ride the new Matterhorn Alpine Crossing over to Italy. Walk through the dramatic Gorner Gorge, or get the ultimate photo of the reflection of the Matterhorn in one of the lakes on the Five-Lakes-Walk. You can add up to two Inghams guided walks per week to your holiday in Zermatt too, which makes exploring the walking area really easy (subject to availability, terms and conditions apply).
