Enjoy snowy woodland views from your cosy log cabin. The Immelmökit Cabins are in a beautiful, quiet location beside the Immeljärvi Lake - when it's frozen over in winter you'll have some of the best chances to spot the Northern Lights from here. 

Pine log cabins

Built from local pine, these traditional style cabins have a cosy and homely feel. Each cabin is detached and equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay in Lapland, including a log burning fire to warm up by, after a day of winter adventures and drying cupboards. The cabins are available self-catered with a fully equipped kitchen or opt to upgrade to half board and have breakfast and dinner. Breakfast and dinner are both served buffet style. 

Excellent Location

The Immelmökit Cabins are ideally located around eight minutes' walk (500 metres) from the centre of Levi- giving you convenient access to the activity meeting places as well as nearby bars, shops, and restaurants. There are numerous stores selling handcrafted items and jewelry, which make great souvenirs to remember your trip to Lapland. Additionally, a well-stocked supermarket is in the centre of resort so you can stock up on the essentials. If you are looking to go skiing, the ski lifts are about a twelve minute (850 metres) walk from the cabins, so you can make the most of the pristine pistes.

Santa's Elves Hideaway

All of our Levi Santa Breaks include a visit to Santa's Elves Hideaway at Tonttula, which is a short drive from Levi (transport included). Santa's Elves Hideaway is tucked away in a whimsical, snow-covered forest, adorned with twinkling candlelight. It's a magical place where the whole family can immerse themselves in an enchanting atmosphere. Join the fun at one of Santa's magical workshops and make delicious gingerbread with Santa's friendly elves, meet Santa's reindeer and even attend Elf school, where you'll learn the secrets of Santa's Elves. There will also be plenty of exciting snow games for you to enjoy including tobogganing. The highlight of the day is meeting Santa in his cosy grotto - each family will have a private meeting with Santa in his grotto, and the children will receive a present during the visit.

Additional Arctic Activities 

After your included visit to Santa's Elves Hideaway, all you'll need to do is decide which other activities you want to add on to make your Santa Trip to Levi the 'best ever'. Whizz through the snowy fells on a snowmobile safari, speed through the wilderness and weave through the forest on a husky excursion or glide through the snow on a reindeer sleigh ride. There are all pre-bookable before you go or through your Inghams Destination Expert in resort.

If you have always wanted to try skiing, the slopes in Levi are ideal for learning as they're generally quiet and there is plenty of English speaking instructors to help - if you are on a four night break then we have a special 'Ski Taster' package which includes lift passes, equipment and lessons.

Rooms

Two bedroom + mezzanine cabins are around 75m² and sleep two to six people. These cabins have two twin bedrooms on the ground floor and an additional three single beds in a large mezzanine area above, plus an additional single sofa bed in the living area.  Cabin numbers 12-18.

Four bedroom cabins are around 92m² and sleep three to eight people. These cabins have four twin bedrooms, with a second WC upstairs. Cabin number 3 and 11.

Four Bedroom Cabins are around 80m² sleep from three to eight people. These cabins have two twin bedrooms on the ground floor and two smaller twin alcove bedrooms on the mezzanine with a sloping roof and sliding doors. These cabins have one WC. Recommended for maximum 6 adults. Cabin numbers 4-10.

Beds to be made up on arrival. Final clean included (except the kitchen) Beds to be stripped.

The Immelmokit Cabins are self-catering cabins. 

Optional half-board upgrade: Half-board meals are available at a nearby hotel restaurant. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style. Please note that the half-board restaurant may be up to 600 metres from the property. If you have any special requirements, please notify us when booking.

A Festive Feast is included for all guests arriving before Christmas, for a Christmas celebration meal with games and music. Please note that for guests staying on half-board, the Festive Feast replaces the last dinner included in the half-board option or if you’re staying over Christmas the Festive Feast will take place on Boxing Day and replace your half-board dinner on this day.

Excursions

Combined 2km Husky & 1km Reindeer Safari

An animal lover’s dream and a great value excursion that makes the most of your valuable holiday time. Meet some of Santa's reindeer deep in their silent forest hideaway. Learn about their way of life from colourful local Sámi herders and enjoy a romantic reindeer sleigh ride for 1km across the snowy landscape. Warm up in the Kota with hot berry juice and biscuits. Next it’s time to visit the huskies in their nearby cosy wilderness home. Learn about their way of life while huddled around a campfire inside a traditional Lappish Kota hut. Visit the huskies and enjoy a 2km dog-sled ride through the sparkling winter landscape.

Total excursion duration approx 2½hrs.

Snowmobile Safari

Experience an exhilarating 25 kilometre ride through beautiful scenery, snow-laden forests and frozen lakes. Snowmobiles are fun and easy to ride on your own or sharing with a passenger. Children either share with an adult (over 11 years and 140cm only) or are towed in a sleigh or pod behind the guide.

Total excursion duration approx 2½hrs.

Wilderness Dinner 

Head out to the snowy forests on a snowmobile sleigh ride for a tasty three course evening meal served in a traditional cabin. You'll enjoy food from the area, with foraged herbs and vegetables being the highlight of the dishes.  You'll have the option to purchase a drinks package at the time of booking. 

Only available for guests on four night breaks.

Ski Taster Package

(for 4 night complete beginner guests only)
An opportunity for guests who have never skied before to try the wonderful world of skiing. Conditions are ideal for learning to ski with quiet slopes and friendly English speaking instructors. The ski taster starts from beginner slopes at South Point, about 10-20 minutes by Ski Bus from Levi centre. Busses run every 15 minutes. 

Includes:

  • Ski tuition for 1½ hours (from South Point)
  • Skis, boots and helmet hire for the day
  • Access to Leevilandia area for the day
  • Use of the local Ski Bus for the day

But beware, you may enjoy yourself so much that you will want to return to experience one of our 7 night holidays.

Please note:

Ski Taster Package is for guests 6yrs or older. Please note that adults and children will be split into separate groups for their tuition. We act as at all times as the selling agent for the supplier of excursions and activities. Times and distances are approximate and may vary due to weather conditions.

Husky and Reindeer Safaris: Times and distances are approximate and may vary due to weather conditions. Safari child age 2-12yrs. Children 0-1yrs free (transport must be pre-booked). In Ylläs customers will drive the husky sled themselves, where as in Levi customers will be driven.

Snowmobile Safaris: Times and distances are approximate and may vary due to weather conditions. Snowmobile Safari child age 4-10yrs and will be towed behind the guide in a sleigh or pod. Children must be aged 11 yrs or above and at least 140cm tall to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile. Snowmobile drivers must be 18yrs and bring a full, photographic driver's license with them. Single riders who have purchased a sharing snowmobile may need to upgrade locally to a single driving snowmobile, if a sharing snowmobile is not available. 

Travel insurance is a condition of booking with us, and you should ensure that your chosen policy covers the activities that you plan to take part in during your holiday. Your policy should provide cover for your own personal and medical expenses, however individual policies will not cover damage to snowmobiles or skidoos and a compulsory excess will be payable directly to the supplier of the snowmobile/skidoo excursion.
