The Hotel Jakobwirt has a long history in Westendorf and has been around for 400 years. This adults-only hotel offers the perfect combination of traditional Austrian charm with contemporary luxury. 

The hotel has a reputation for great food and hospitality and is the perfect place to explore the magnificent SkiWelt ski area.

Bedrooms are cosy and comfy, designed in modern alpine style. The dining room has been renovated with a fresh alpine look.

Central location

The Hotel Jakobwirt has a great location right in the centre of Westendorf, so you can easily explore the charming cafés and lunch spots the resort has to offer. 

The Schneeberg chairlift and Sammer lift are within easy reach, just 300 metres from the hotel doorstep. From here you can ski down a cruisy blue to the Alpenrosenbahn gondola for access to the full SkiWelt area.

New wellness facilities

The newly renovated spa is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. There is an indoor pool, steam room and traditional Finnish sauna to unwind in.

Enjoy coffee and cake at the hotel's Jakobwirt Café, or soak in the sun on the terrace.

Known for being a quiet and attractive resort, Westendorf actually enjoys access to two vast ski areas – SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area and Kitzbühel. Situated on an open plateau in the wide Brixen valley, this small pretty Tyrolean village is the perfect family friendly resort.

Skiing and snowboarding in Westendorf

With the nursery slopes directly beside the village centre and an excellent children’s programme provided by the ski school, Westendorf is perfect for those just finding their ski legs.

On the tree-lined runs above the village, the resort also has some unexpectedly challenging slopes to get your teeth into. A gondola links Westendorf with Brixen and the rest of the slopes of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area (a total of nine resorts) with a huge variety of skiing for both intermediate and advanced skiers.

Access to the Kitzbühel ski area, with a further 234km of pistes, is via the Ki-West gondola (Super Ski Card required for this).
