The Hotel au Coeur du Village is a contemporary five star luxury hotel situated in the charming resort of La Clusaz. Everything has been thought out to provide guests with the best experience, the staff aim to provide all guests with a personalised experience - so you will want to return year after year. 

Excellent location

The hotel has an excellent location in resort with direct access to the ski lifts and ski school meeting point, you can even ski back to the hotel at the end of the day.  The rustic resort centre is just a short walk away from the hotel, offering a range of shops, bars and restaurants serving delicious Savoyard cuisine. 

Restaurants and bars

Start the day off with a delicious continental breakfast buffet before heading out onto the mountain and return to an appetizing three course evening meal, which is often a contemporary take on the traditional cuisine. The bar is also open for lunch and afternoon tea, so if you are having a break from skiing you can enjoy a variety of snacks and light meals. After a long day skiing, relax in the hotel's lounge area with fire place with a cocktail or glass of wine, it is the perfect place to unwind.

Soothing spa and relaxation

Guests have fully use of the swimming pool and wellness area. Access to children is restricted to specific hours, so it is a tranquil experience for the older guests. Soothe your aches and pains in the relaxation pool with current jets, swan neck fountains, and hydro jets . The rock crystal steam room with a starlit ceiling and the wooden sauna with chromotherapy lights complete the spa circuit. There is also a sun deck where you can kick back and watch the world go by from the wide bay windows which face out onto the the snowy peaks. Massages and treatments are also available for a local fee, allowing you to completely rest and decompress.

The rooms are stylishly decorated with lavish extras, including fur rugs and mountain décor.  The suites also include a living room and all have a balcony with picturesque views of the village and the slopes, so you can marvel at your surroundings from the comfort of your room.

La Clusaz, a picturesque Savoyard village located in the beautiful Aravis mountain range. The resort features a rustic centre with a church, shops and a variety of traditional restaurants serving regional specialties, as well as a number of bars to take advantage of the resort's welcoming ambiance. The ski domain is made up of five interlinked mountains within the Haute-Savoie region, providing access to the expansive Massif des Aravis Ski Area. With 210 kilometres of downhill skiing, beginners and intermediates can enjoy the green and blue runs, while experts can ski the abundant off-piste terrain.

Skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

La Clusaz is part of the Aravis Ski Area, which provides access to 133 marked pistes. The resort's excellent green and blue runs make it a great place for beginners and families. For intermediate and advanced skiers, there's an assortment of slopes and an abundance of off-piste terrain (we recommend hiring a guide), as well as the opportunity to ski Le Grand Bornand with an Aravis Lift Pass.

Bars and restaurants in La Clusaz

La Clusaz is a lively resort with variety of bars and restaurants both in the the village and up in the mountains which offer great food, service and value for money. There's plenty of choices serving a variety of different dishes, whether you feel like a burger, pizza, pasta or traditional Savoyard dishes. The resort also has a number of bars to choose from, relax after a day on the slopes with a glass of Vin Chaud (hot wine) with a log fire and a mountain view.

Enjoy lunch with a view of the mountains at one of the many restaurants dotted around the ski area, many of which serve excellent Savoyard specialities. We recommend sampling the tartiflette.

Rooms

Junior Rooms are around 20m² and sleep one to two people with a queen-sized bed and have an en-suite bathroom with multi-jet shower and separate WC.

Privilege Rooms are around 25m², sleeping two people with a king sized bed and have a bathtub with shower attachment in the bathroom. These rooms also benefit from having a cosy snug area or a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.

Privilege Suites sleep two to four people and are around 48m². The suites are made up as a double room with a king size bed with a separate en-suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the resort and/or surrounding mountains. The second area is a spacious lounge area which can be made up as a single bed or a guest bed, suitable for one adult or two children under 12 years and also has a separate bathroom with a shower. 

Family Suites sleep three to four people and are around 60m². These suites are made up of two double bedrooms with a king size bed and have an en-suite featuring a bath or walk shower, these rooms also have a balcony. Can be duplex. The Family Suite is on request, please give our reservations team a call to book this room type.

Meals

The Hotel au Coeur du Village is offered on a half board basis, this includes breakfast and an evening meal. Drinks are not included. 

Fuel up for a day skiing at the extensive breakfast buffet which has a variety of sweet and savoury options. Choose from a variety of pastries, yogurts, brioches, fresh fruit or cold cuts, fresh bread and eggs. Additional hot options are also available during breakfast which may have an additional charge. 

Half board meals will be taken at the 'Le Coeur' restaurant - a charming and modern mountain restaurant. Each evening you can enjoy a three course à la carte evening meal with choice of menu and daily specials (there is an additional charge for certain dishes). The menu is created around local and fresh products, and the chefs pride themselves on the gourmet offering including a starter, main and dessert.

'Le Cinq' is a cosy and gourmet restaurant which allows you to taste seasonal and traditional dishes which are influenced by international flavours. The restaurant is only open throughout the winter season. Reserve your table locally, additional charges apply.

Christmas and New Years galas are included. 

Earlier meal times for children are available from 7pm with a designated children's menu.
