Whether you are seeking adventure on the slopes or a relaxing time amidst stunning mountain scenery, this hotel has you covered.

Slope side location

Avoriaz is the perfect resort for families, it is a pedestrianised resort, where you get around on horse-drawn sleighs rather than cars or buses. The Hotel Les Cimes du Soleil features ski-in, ski-out accommodation making it incredibly easy to get onto the slopes each day. Children are catered for with the dedicated children areas, while the more experienced skiers and boarders can enjoy the cruisy blues and red runs throughout the area. 

Relax and rejuvenate

Soak up the sun on the fantastic terrace after a long day skiing the large Portes du Soleil ski area, with incredible views of the surrounding mountains, it is the ideal spot to relax. Later in the evening, you can enjoy a drink in the cosy bar after dinner or enjoy the entertainment provided.

The residence features a lovely adults only wellness area, it is the perfect place to have a moment of relaxation after a day of exploring the slopes. Soak away any aches or pains in the sauna or hammam, or treat yourself to a massage or treatment which also includes access to the relaxation pools. If relaxing in the wellness area isn't for you, train for your next ski adventure in the fitness room.

Great value

The Hotel Les Cimes du Soleil is offered on an all inclusive board basis, each day you can enjoy varied cuisine served buffet style. Fuel up for the day at the breakfast buffet which includes a variety of sweet and savoury options, as well as additional hot items. If you are feeling a bit peckish after skiing, sweet treats and light snacks are available. The lunch and dinner offering is varied, and often includes show-cooking during meal times. If you fancy trying Savoyard specialities such as fondue, raclette or tartelette, you can reserve a table in the Le Cèdre Rouge restaurant, which is included on one night of your stay. Drinks are also included, so you don't need to worry about the bar tab. The bar is open everyday and includes a range of beers, cocktails, soft drinks, wine by the glass and hot drinks. 

Family friendly 

The hotel is a great option for children looking to make new friends on your family ski holiday. There are multiple children's clubs accommodating for children between 3- 17 years of age, providing all the fun from games, creative activities, dances and other entertainment. The purpose built, snow sure resort of Avoriaz is the highest in the Portes du Soleil. appealing to skiers and boarders of all abilities with slopes such as the best blue run in the area, Abricotine, and Coupe du Monde being the best black run with great views. 

The Flocon Vert label has been awarded to Avoriaz, demonstrating the resort's commitment to environmental preservation and highlighting its dedication to sustainable development. Since the resort opened in the 60s it has been pedestrianised, making it incredibly accessible whether on skis, on foot or even horse drawn sleigh. The resort has a partnership with Blablacar, and the BlaBlaBus is the best way to reach the main Avoriaz 1800 station. Once you are on the mountain, the Stash snow park provides fun for the whole family, found between the trees in a reforestation zone. It's made up of different ability level snow parks built with dead untreated wood which has been collected locally, so it blends into the landscape. There's a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars dotted around the resort, many of which serve local ingredients and French-origin products and most buildings are designed to conserve heat, and with the use of solar panels generate energy too. 

Superb skiing in Avoriaz, part of the Portes du Soleil Ski Area

Avoriaz is located above Morzine and is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, both of which are known for their abundance of high-quality and diverse skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Avoriaz itself is perfect for all abilities as there are plenty of cruisy blue slopes and tree lined runs. For the more advanced, upgrading to the Portes du Soleil ski pass is your ticket to endless adventures, you will have access to 600km of piste across France and Switzerland. If you are after a challenge, have a go at skiing The Circuit - it is the best way to see as much as the Portes du Soleil as possible. It takes about six hours for an intermediate skier to complete, not including the all important lunch break. 

Avoriaz has always been at the forefront of snowboarding culture, it was actually the first resort in France to open a terrain park. Since then, it has become an excellent choice for snowboarders and freestylers of all levels, with a wide range of snow parks to choose from. The Stash is an off-piste, tree-run, free-ride park with numerous tables, rails, and wall-rides. Additionally, there is the Lil Stash, which is designed for beginners and children and includes comparable features to those in the main park.

Avoriaz has a great selection of restaurants for a variety of different tastes. The food in the area is predominantly French with Swiss influences, and be sure to try some of the delicious wines while you’re away. There are plenty of options that are suitable for families, as well as budget friendly options, including pizzerias, takeaways and cosy bistros.

Meals

This hotel is all inclusive with breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks included within the package price. Included meals start with dinner on the first evening and end with breakfast on the last morning

Breakfast is served buffet style with a range of sweet and savoury options, as well as hot options.

Lunch can either be buffet, with salads, hot dishes, cheese and desserts, or a picnic option can be requested at a supplement.

Après ski snacks include pancakes, sweets, chocolate fountains and mulled wine.

Dinner is served buffet style, and includes a variety of salads, hot and cold dishes, cheese, and desserts. There is also a show kitchen, so you can watch the chefs in action. You can also enjoy dinner at the restaurant 'Le Cedre Rouge' on one of the evenings, which specialises in Savoyard cuisine. If you would like to have dinner at this restaurant, please make a reservation at the reception desk upon your arrival as it is reservation-only.

Christmas eve and New Years eve gala dinners are included. 

Drinks

The bar is open 7 days a week and the opening times are 10am to midnight. After the bar closes, there's a coffee/tea/water self service station until the breakfast buffet service starts at 7am.

Drinks at the bar include beers, cocktails, soft drinks, wine by the glass and hot drinks. Premium bottled beer, premium spirits/cocktails and bottles of wine are not included but can be purchased locally (card only).
