The traditional alpine style Hotel Ski Lodge is set back from the main street of Val d'Isere, enjoying a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Getting onto the slopes couldn't be easier hop on the free ski bus which stops near to the hotel, if you do fancy walking into the centre it's just a ten-minute walk where you can find plenty of bars, cafes and shops.

Alpine hotel

Furnished in a typical Savoyard style, the Ski Lodge has a warm and inviting feel to it. Once you step inside, you'll find rustic woods, stone walls, alongside furs and alpine style decorations. Each of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with the same alpine style, with wood panelling, fur throws and homey furnishings. The hotel has a cosy bar and lounge where you can snuggle up for a night in in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine.

Food and drink

Each evening you can enjoy a tasty four course evening meal with a choice of starter, main, dessert and cheese plate. Once a week you can try regional Savoyard specialties - if you're feeling cheesy, try the fondue, raclette or tartiflette. Pierrade is also available, a form of barbeque, where meats are cooked over hot stone.

When you return from a day on the slopes, warm up in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate or enjoy an aperitif before dinner at the daily happy hour. If you are fancying a snack, a range of cheese and charcuterie boards are available from the bar for a local fee.

We offer a range of 3-5 star hotels, modern residences and chalets all located within a short walk of the ski area and ski lifts. Many of our properties include spa and wellness facilities with your stay and we also have accommodations that are well suited for larger groups - whether that be families or friends. If you would like to stay in the heart of resort, you're in luck as the majority of our properties are located in the centre of Val d'Isere, but we also have hotels and chalets that are located a short yet enjoyable walk away for those of you who would prefer some peace and quiet.

Val d'Isere has a wide range of restaurants for all tastes and budgets, whether you're feeling breakfast or dinner with a view. Across resort you'll find many restaurants that offer traditional French cuisine so there'll be plenty of opportunity to try out the local food. Why not treat yourself and eat in style at a Michelin star restaurant? Val d'Isere wouldn't be the same without it's highly rated après ski scene. The resort is home to La Folie Douce, the most famous mountain club of the Alps that attracts crowds of people year after year - a stop here is the only acceptable way to end the day with a pint and a boogie before skiing or snowboarding your way back down to the village.

Travel By Air

Flights to Chambery or Geneva from 13 UK airports

Transfer Times

  • Chambery airport: approx. 2 hours 45 mins by coach
  • Geneva airport: approx. 3 hours 45 mins by coach

There is a traffic light system for the Tarentaise Valley. This system controls and slows down the traffic, stopping traffic sitting in dangerous places, like tunnels, where rocks can fall and to make snow clearing easier when it is snowing. This can impact your transfer time, meaning you may arrive into resort later and be leaving for the airport earlier.

Transfers may be longer during bad weather conditions or French school holidays. French school holidays span 21 Dec 24 - 06 Jan 25, 08 Feb - 10 Mar 25 and 05 Apr - 05 May 25.
