Hotel Majoni is in a great location in the centre of Cortina. It’s at the top of Corso Italia, the main street, so you don’t have to venture far to find a bar, restaurant or shop. Upgrade to a room with a balcony and you’ll get to enjoy the town’s atmosphere as you sit outside. The ski bus stops just outside the hotel and gets you to the slopes in no time.

Great location

If you are looking for a hotel in the centre of Cortina, the Hotel Majoni is an excellent choice. Located at the top of the pedestrianised Corso Italia, the resorts cafes, restaurants and shops are all within easy reach. The ski bus stops just outside the hotel, so you can easily get on and off the mountain each day - head up to the Faloria-Cristallo area for fantastic views and lovely intermediate pistes, or make your way up to the Tofana ski area for access to the wider Dolomites Ski Area including the Cinque Torri.

Food and drink

After spending all day on the mountains, it’s great to come back to such a welcoming hotel. Chill out in the lounge or grab a drink at the hotel’s bar.  Leave some room for dinner though - the restaurant has some good Italian dishes to replenish your energy. It’s buffet style so help yourself to a big plate of pasta or try some local specialties.

Located east of the Sellaronda circuit, it’s not called the 'Queen of the Dolomites' for nothing. It has 140 kilometres of skiable terrain that stretches up to a incredible 2,939 metres. It’s renowned for the excellent selection of skiing as well as superb accommodation, bars, restaurants and shopping.

Skiing and snowboarding in Cortina D’Ampezzo

The main skiing areas are the Cortina Cube (Socrepes, Faloria and Mietres), Tofana, and Lagazuoi - 5 Torri, with plenty of challenging runs as well as some of the most amazing views. The areas are either linked by the impressive network of lifts or local ski buses and in Winter 2021 saw a number of new and improved lifts cutting down queues and CO2 emissions. The Tofana area has a women's downhill World Cup run, which Cortina hosts each January and, in February 2021, held the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, inviting some of the world's best skiers for an unmissable event.
