You'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive at the Hotel Bellavista, the Valduga family have been running the hotel since 1978 and pride themselves on the high standards of service.

Laid-back Pinzolo hotel

Located just 20 minutes outside of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo offers a more laid-back, local atmosphere. Rest assured that you have access to the same expansive ski area as Madonna di Campiglio by taking the gondola from the village into the mountains.

Hotel ski shuttle

The hotel is set back from the main area of Pinzolo, and is in a quieter area of town.

Getting to the slopes couldn't be easier though, the hotel runs a daily shuttle service each morning and afternoon to the Pra Rodont cable car but if you have a slightly later start, there is also a public bus which you can jump on.

Home-grown food

The food is something to look forward to here, each morning you can enjoy a tasty breakfast with a range of sweet and savoury options including meats and cheeses from the Val Rendena, homemade pastries, fresh fruit and homemade jams.

When you return from a day of adventures, a delicious three course evening meal with dishes from the region.

Most of the herbs and vegetables on the hotel buffet come from the nearby garden.

For the little ones a dedicated infant's menu is available often including omelettes, chips and fresh pasta dishes - plus for the babies pureed vegetables, broths and meats are available.

Daily kids' club

Throughout the winter season there is a daily kids' club and recreation room, so the adults can enjoy some well-deserved peace while the children are kept occupied (4-12 years, approx. 4pm-10pm).

There is often creative workshops so the children can get involved in arts, crafts and baking.

Each of the twin bedrooms at the hotel can sleep three people and can accommodate a cot, making this an excellent choice for your next family ski holiday.

The extensive ski area seamlessly connects Madonna di Campiglio with nearby Marilleva and Folgarida, offering 155km of predominantly tree-lined pistes. The resort takes great pride in piste preparation, ensuring optimal skiing conditions.

With the ski area enveloping the main town centre, accessing the mountains is effortless, thanks to the choice of four lifts. As you traverse the slopes, you'll find yourself chasing the sun and the finest snow around the mountain.

For Winter 2024/25 Pinzolo has upgraded the Pra Rodont lift to a new 10 person Gondola. For those brave enough, you can ride in a glass-floored gondola for a fully immersive experience. The redesign uses sustainable construction and has given the area an entirely new look, with new underground lift stations and a gourmet mountain hut with panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites.

Pinzolo

Children born after 30 April 2016 can collect a free ski pass in resort if accompanied by an adult - one free pass allocated to a child per adult. Proof of age will be required.

Tuition information

Tuition is only available for guests staying in Madonna di Campiglio. Guests staying in Pinzolo can book tuition directly with the ski school: Scuola Italiana Sci Pinzolo.

  • Adult ski tuition runs Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm
  • Child (ages 3 - 16* years) ski tuition runs Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm (lunch is included) - more details below
  • Guests will be picked up by the ski school from their hotel and taken to the relevant ski school meeting point depending on their ability.
  • Group tuition need a minimum number of guests to take place. Very occasionally these numbers aren’t reached. If you have pre-booked tuition and this happens, the ski-school will do their best to offer private tuition to the value of what you had originally booked.
  • Private ski/ snowboard tuition available on request

 

Child tuition

Lunch is included for all children. We offer tuition for complete beginners and for children who have skied before.

Beginners - For children aged between 3 - 7 years who have never skied before. The morning will be spent learning how to ski. After lunch children will not ski but will take part in afternoon playtime.

Skied before - For children aged between 7 - 16 years who have skied previously. Children will ski in both the morning and afternoon. Instructors will organise groups locally based on ability.

As lunch is included for all children, please make us aware of any dietary or medical requirements at time of booking as we will need to check the ski school can accommodate for these.

Levels of tuition:

  • Beginner - never skied before
  • Level 1 - advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes 
  • Level 2 - low intermediate, snowplough turns and start to ski parallel
  • Level 3 - good intermediate, parallel turns 
  • Advanced - fully confident on all slopes, looking to improve technique

The Hotel Bellavista is on a half board basis.

Fuel up for the day at the extensive breakfast buffet served between 7:30-9:30am, often including fresh bread, a selection of meats and cheeses from Val Rendena, fresh fruit, yogurts, homemade jams, natural honey and additional hot options including pancakes, bacon and eggs from the hotel's hens.

When you return from a day on the slopes, you can enjoy a three-course evening meal with a choice, plus a daily salad buffet. The menu includes dishes, created with fresh ingredients, from the Val Rendena - you can enjoy cheeses from the local dairy, homemade jams, with many of the herbs and vegetables on the hotel buffet coming from the nearby garden. Dinner is served from 19:30 to 20:30pm
