The comfortable apartments at the Residence Ambiez are a great choice for friends and families looking for self catered accommodation in Madonna di Campiglio. The residence has some great facilities including a bar, restaurant and wellness area.

Panoramic pool views

After a day of exploring the Campiglio Ski Area, there is nowhere better to relax than the pool and wellness area.

Guests have free entry to the heated indoor swimming pool, it is the perfect spot to take in the wonderful mountain views. Onsite booking is required for pool access. 

After a dip in the pool, adults can head to the Spa Alpes and relax in the Bio or Finnish sauna, unwind in the steam bath or take a relaxing shower in the chromotherapy showers, before heading to the relaxation area with a cup of herbal tea.

The Spa Alpes wellness area is open daily for adults only, there is a small fee per visit, payable locally.

Eat in or dine out

These apartments have everything you need for a self-catered stay in the mountains. Each of the apartments has a fully equipped kitchenette with cookware, a ceramic hob, and tea and coffee making facilities - so you can whip up tasty meals from the comfort of your apartment.

If you want to take the fuss out of meals times, you can upgrade to bed and breakfast or half board. Breakfast includes a varied sweet and savoury buffet, often including freshly baked bread, traditional tarts and cakes, pastries, cold cuts, cheese and coffee.

Evening meals include a three course meal with a menu inspired by the Trentino region, this often includes local meats, canederli, polenta and apple strudel.

The extensive ski area seamlessly connects Madonna di Campiglio with nearby Marilleva and Folgarida, offering 155km of predominantly tree-lined pistes. The resort takes great pride in piste preparation, ensuring optimal skiing conditions.

With the ski area enveloping the main town centre, accessing the mountains is effortless, thanks to the choice of four lifts. As you traverse the slopes, you'll find yourself chasing the sun and the finest snow around the mountain.

For Winter 2024/25 Pinzolo has upgraded the Pra Rodont lift to a new 10 person Gondola. For those brave enough, you can ride in a glass-floored gondola for a fully immersive experience. The redesign uses sustainable construction and has given the area an entirely new look, with new underground lift stations and a gourmet mountain hut with panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites.

Pinzolo

Located just 20 minutes outside of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo offers a more laid-back, local atmosphere. Rest assured that you have access to the same expansive ski area by taking the gondola from the village into the mountains. Pinzolo boasts its own hidden gem of a ski area before seamlessly connecting to the wider region, making it perfect for those seeking quieter pistes at the beginning or end of the day. The final run back down into the village is a black slope, so if you've had your fill of skiing, why not stop for a drink at the top of the gondola station before taking the easy way back down the mountain.

Featuring the Skirama Dolomiti, a linked ski area of 156km, where you can enjoy Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida Marilleva & Pinzolo. Children born after 30 April 2016 can collect a free ski pass in resort if accompanied by an adult - one free pass allocated to a child per adult. Proof of age will be required.

Tuition information

Tuition is only available for guests staying in Madonna di Campiglio. Guests staying in Pinzolo can book tuition directly with the ski school: Scuola Italiana Sci Pinzolo.

  • Adult ski tuition runs Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm
  • Child (ages 3 - 16* years) ski tuition runs Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm (lunch is included) - more details below
  • Guests will be picked up by the ski school from their hotel and taken to the relevant ski school meeting point depending on their ability.
  • Group tuition need a minimum number of guests to take place. Very occasionally these numbers aren’t reached. If you have pre-booked tuition and this happens, the ski-school will do their best to offer private tuition to the value of what you had originally booked.
  • Private ski/ snowboard tuition available on request

 

Child tuition

Lunch is included for all children. We offer tuition for complete beginners and for children who have skied before.

Beginners - For children aged between 3 - 7 years who have never skied before. The morning will be spent learning how to ski. After lunch children will not ski but will take part in afternoon playtime.

Skied before - For children aged between 7 - 16 years who have skied previously. Children will ski in both the morning and afternoon. Instructors will organise groups locally based on ability.

As lunch is included for all children, please make us aware of any dietary or medical requirements at time of booking as we will need to check the ski school can accommodate for these.

Levels of tuition:

  • Beginner - never skied before
  • Level 1 - advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes 
  • Level 2 - low intermediate, snowplough turns and start to ski parallel
  • Level 3 - good intermediate, parallel turns 
  • Advanced - fully confident on all slopes, looking to improve technique
