This walk takes you to the beautiful Lake Montriond on the outskirts of Morzine. You'll stroll through small forests, along tree lined paths and past surrounding mountains. There are a few different routes, and your guide will choose the best one based on the group’s ability.
Depending on the routes, you’ll head to Ardent, Avoriaz, or Les Prodains. This easy to moderate walk is about 10 kilometres and lasts from 9am to 4pm, with a 400 metre ascent and 300 metre descent.

This walk takes you through the stunning Puez Odle Nature Park, a protected area that invites you to wander and explore at your own pace.
You’ll have the option to ascend to the Mastlé -Santa Cristina Panoramic Balcony, part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The ascent is quite steep, but the beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks and Val Gardena make it a rewarding hike. From the balcony, you’ll also see the Pieralongia, a famous natural rock needle.
On the return, you’ll stop at a popular rifugio for a bite of local mountain food or a refreshing drink.
This easy to moderate walk covers 8 kilometres and takes a full day, with about 5 hours and 30 minutes of walking. The terrain includes loose gravel paths, rocky paths, meadows and curated mountain paths, with some ascents and descents.
You’ll stop at mountain huts along the way for breaks, and the Col Raiser cable car (payable locally) will help you start the walk, while the public bus (free with the Val Gardena Mobil Card) will bring you back to Selva.

As you reach the Lake of the Cheserys, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Mont Blanc. One a calm day, you might even see the landscape perfectly reflected in the lake.
This moderate to challenging walk is approximately 10 kilometres. The terrain includes steep climbs at the start, ladders midway, and a pleasant path from the ladders to the lake. Be sure to bring your own lunch and snacks, as there are no places to buy food or access toilets on route.
You’ll start at the Montroc train station or the Tré le Champ car park, with options to catch a train or bus from Chamonix to Montroc and return from Argentière. This walk combines challenging climbs and rewarding views, making it an ideal adventure for thrill-seekers.
