Cosy log cabins

One of the most authentic ways to see Finnish Lapland is to wake up in a warm and cosy log cabin. The cabins in Ylläs are a great place to stay as they are close to Äkäslompolo village where you can find plenty of cross-country ski tracks. The cabins are furnished with all the modern conveniences you'll need for a comfortable stay in the Arctic Circle, including a private sauna and fireplace, perfect for warming up after a snowmobile safari or reindeer sleigh ride. The cabins also have an equipped kitchenette, so you can eat in. There's an excellent, well-stocked supermarket in the village centre, along with cafes, shops, and restaurants. You'll also have the choice to upgrade to half board and enjoy meals at the nearby Äkäs Hotel.

Artic activities

Lapland is one of the best places in the world to witness the Northern Lights and staying in the Ylläs Log Cabins during the winter months provides an excellent opportunity to witness this natural phenomenon. The cabins are also a great base to enjoy our optional extra activities such as snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides and snowshoeing. Plus after a day of exploring, you can unwind in your cabin's private sauna or warm up by the fireplace.
