The Hotel du Golf offers great value for money as its on an all-inclusive basis, including all meals and drinks. Located at the base of the nursery slopes and pistes, the hotel enjoys a prime location in Arc 1800, providing easy access to the Paradiski Ski Area. The Du Golf is a fantastic option for families, groups, and couples due to its great facilities, friendly and laid-back attitude, and popular restaurants. After an active day on the slopes, the bar and lounge area with a large fireplace makes a cosy and welcoming space to unwind, often with live music.

All inclusive

The Hotel du Golf, which is now all inclusive, offers outstanding value for money. All meals are included for the duration of your stay; fuel up for a day on the slopes with a extensive buffet breakfast, then return for a buffet style lunch or arrange a piste picnic for an additional cost. If you're feeling peckish after a day on the slopes, there are a range of snacks available to keep you going until dinner. Each evening, you can enjoy a three-course buffet-style meal with a range of salads, hot dishes, desserts, and cheese; also a classic French fondue, raclette, or tartiflette meal is available, you can reserve your seat at the Le Mont Blanc restaurant upon arrival. If you want to treat yourself to a meal out, the à la carte Petit Zinc restaurant, which serves brasserie-style Italian meals (pay locally), is a excellent option. Beers, cocktails, soft drinks, wine by the glass, and hot beverages are also included.

Excellent location

Located at the foot of the pistes, the Hotel Du Golf is a great choice for keen skiers and boarders who want to explore the extensive Paradiski slopes. The nursery slopes are nearby, so beginners can easily start their day on gentle slopes closer to home. The close proximity to the fun MILLE8 activity ski area and aquatic centre adds to its appeal, especially for families - if its a bit too snowy to ski the MILLE8 features a swimming pool, wellness area, and fitness room.  

Relax and unwind

After a day on the mountain the hotel features its own wellness area including an indoor heated plunge pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna (pay locally). There is also a cosy lounge and bar area, perfect for catching up with family and friends after a day on the slopes.

Les Arcs is a purpose built resort so you can find everything you need for a great week skiing. Many of the properties we offer have convenient access to the renowned Paradiski ski area, so you get out and ski the 200km of slopes without any hassle. Les Arcs is made up of four resorts of varying altitude, all self contained with their own restaurants, bars and activities. You can access all of the villages with a shuttle bus running throughout the day.

The Les Arcs-Vallandry Ski Area is Europe's first B-Corp-accredited ski resort. B-Corp evaluates a company's impact on the planet and people, and it is given to companies which meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsibility. The goal is to transform the global economy to benefit all individuals, communities, and the environment. As well as being B-Corp accredited, Les Arcs also have two Flocon Vert snowflakes, demonstrating the resorts commitment to environmental preservation, highlighting its dedication to sustainable development. The resort has done a number of things to achieve these accreditations including using more sustainable fuel in snow groomers and providing a car-free resort, plus all visitors who arrive by rail will also have free access to the funicular. With a new purchasing policy for the resort, almost 90% of its purchases are in the local Rhône-Alpes region. There has also been a focus on regreening the mountain area by planting trees and restoring wetland areas.

Skiing and snowboarding in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski Ski Area, offering 200km of slopes across the local area. There are plenty of areas for beginners to practise turns and techniques, intermediates and advanced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the abundance of well groomed slopes of varying levels, and with the impressive Vanoise Express cable car provides easy access to a further 225km of pistes in neighbouring La Plagne.

For December 2024, the Transarc gondola linking Arc 1800 and Col de la Chal will recieve an upgrade over the summer. The modern and comfortable ten seater cabin will take skiers and borders to Col de la Chal in just 13 minutes - cutting down the ascent in half. Once at the top a panoramic terrace will give you incredible 360 views of the surrounding snowy peaks. This project will optimise electricity consumption and allow it to generate its own electricity using 600 photovoltaic panels.

Where to stay in Les Arcs

We offer accommodation across all of the resorts in Les Arcs. Choose between a variety of hotels and apartments, many of which have ski in/ ski out access and wellness facilities to relax after a day on the slopes. We have accommodation in three of the villages, take your pick between the different altitude resorts and choose the best option for your next French ski holiday.

Arc 1600 

The lowest of the Arcs is Arc 1600, benefitting from having direct access up from Bourg Saint Maurice and convenient access to the slopes, it is a great choice if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the French Alps. The modern Hotel Cachette is a hotel not to be missed - you basically have ski in, ski out access and wonderful scenic views from the large balcony, there's also lovely wellness facilities.

Arc 1800

Arc 1800 is a great option for families with an activity area comprising of aquatic centre, toboggan runs, fun trail, beginner's area and children's practice area, adding to its popularity with families and beginners. We have a great selection of accommodation here, whether you want to stay in an all inclusive hotel, simplistic self catered apartments or modern accommodation with wellness facilities - there's something for everyone.

Arc 1950

Arc 1950 is a pretty car free village with excellent restaurants, bars, shops and a spa, plus good access to the slopes. The Arc 1950 Le Village Apartments are set in the centre of 1950, they're virtually ski in, ski out so you can get on and off the mountain with ease each day. The gondola up to Arc 2000 is nearby, so you can make the most of all of the resort facilities.

Arc 2000

Intermediate and advanced skiers will enjoy the fantastic doorstep skiing and close proximity to the Aiguille Rouge Glacier in Arc 2000. We have a wide range of accommodation here, all of which are close to the slopes - The Taj-I-Mah is on the snow front, so you couldn't ask for a better located hotel.. Choose from staying on full board at the Les Mélèzes, opt or have Huski meals delivered to your door at the Chalet Altitude Apartments. We also have a selection of hotels available with half board meals or self catered apartments. 

Bars and restaurants in Les Arcs

Each of the different resorts in Les Arcs have their own charm but all have a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. The après scene is vibrant and lively, with live music and DJ sets often found in the bars both on and off the mountain.

Food lovers will enjoy the many authentic restaurants serving delicious Savoyard dishes such as fondue and tartiflette. You can also find a variety of restaurants serving fine French food, tex-mex and pizza.

Meals

This hotel is all inclusive with breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks included. Meals start with dinner on the first evening and end with breakfast on the last morning.

Each morning you can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet with a range of sweet and savoury items including additional hot options, served between 7:30-9:30pm.

Lunch is served buffet style in the main restaurant and includes a variety of salads, hot dishes, cheese and desserts.  A picnic option can be requested at an additional supplement. Lunch is served between 12:30-13:30pm. 

Evening meals are served buffet style in the main restaurant and includes a range of salads, hot dishes, cheese and desserts. If you fancy mixing it up a bit, you can enjoy one meal at the 'Le Mont Blanc' restaurant serving Savoyard specialities and one meal at the Italian style Petit Zinc. Reserve your table upon arrival at the club, please note that meals at Le Mont Blanc and Petit Zinc are limited to one time during your stay. Dinner is served between 19:00-21:00pm.

Light snacks are available from the bar, and typically includes cheese/charcuterie, chips and sweets.

Christmas eve and New Years eve gala dinners are included. 

 

Drinks

The bar is open 7 days a week and provisional opening times are 10am to midnight. After the bar closes there's a coffee/tea/water self service station available until the breakfast buffet service starts at 7am.

Drinks at the bar include beers, cocktails, soft drinks, wine by the glass and hot drinks. Premium bottled beer, premium spirits/cocktails and bottles of wine are not included but can be purchased if required.
