Hotel Evaldo is a family-run hotel, you'll love the warm welcome from the Lezuo family and their team. It has a traditional alpine feel that carries through to the bedrooms. It's a popular base with Inghams guests wanting to hit the Sellaronda. Set back from the centre of Arabba, you can enjoy the peaceful views of the surrounding Dolomiti mountains while still having convenient access to the slopes.

Village location

The hotel's about a five-minute walk from the centre of Arabba, a charming village with fantastic access to the ski area and the highest point in the Dolomites- the Marmolada. The lifts are a little further away from the centre, with the Portavescovo lift being the nearest, the hotel runs a daily shuttle service in the mornings and afternoons so getting on and off the slopes couldn't be easier. Arabba benefits from having excellent connections to the 'must do' areas of the Dolomites including the Marmolada glacier, the Sellaronda and the Hidden Valley, be sure to ask the team for their recommendations for a lunch stop.

Relaxation

When you return from a day of skiing the Dolomites, head to the lovely wellness area for a relaxing spa session. Have a dip in the pool before relaxing in the jacuzzi, you can then choose between the infrared cabin, Finnish sauna or the steam bath before unwinding in the relaxation area. If you want to train for your next ski adventure, there is a small fitness room with a range of equipment.

Restaurant

Start your day at the breakfast buffet which includes a classic continental offering and hot options. When you return tuck into some afternoon cakes before your tasty four-course dinner. Meals often include typical hearty and filling Ladino dishes, which pair perfectly with a bottle of wine from the wine cellar.

Arabba

  • Resort altitude of 1,602 metres
  • 1200 kilometres of slopes in the Dolomiti Ski Area
  • Skiing to 3,342 metres

Arabba is one of the best placed ski resorts for exploring the Dolomiti Superski area and is perfect for keen skiers and boarders.

The resort itself is extraordinarily beautiful, with unspoilt landscapes and an uncommercialised resort centre. This compact, friendly village offers a small selection of non-ski activities and even has it's own natural ice skating rink.

Skiing and snowboarding in Arabba

Arabba has some of the most interesting slopes of the resorts that make up the celebrated Sellaronda circuit. It is a real skiers’ holiday base and boasts excellent, challenging pistes aimed towards intermediate to advance skiers and boarders. We don't recommend Arabba for beginners, but the Dolomites has plenty of other incredible resorts for first-timers including Kronplatz and Selva.

You'll marvel at the stunning slopes of the mighty Marmolada glacier which are within easy reach.

The highly recommended Hidden Valley is close by too. Part of the spectacular Dolomiti Superski area, the modern lift system ensures Arabba links easily to the Sella Ronda, with Canazei in the Val di Fassa to the West, and Corvara in the sunny Alta Badia ski area to the North.

The fast 'Ornella' run down to Pescoi is one of the big thrills for local skiers – and one of the biggest local challenges.

Where to stay in Arabba

We offer a range of accommodation across resort, all with a variety of facilities. The majority of our properties are located in the centre of resort and they are all available on a half board basis.

Hotel Grifone offers a free shuttle service and provides some fantastic food at dinner when you arrive back after an energetic day on the slopes.

Both the Hotel Sport Arabba and Hotel Evaldo grant access to some fantastic spa and wellness facilities including saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi and Turkish baths. There are also opportunities to book a beauty treatment or massage.

Bars and restaurants in Arabba

As the resort itself it's fairly small, there is a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias to visit during your stay. Arabba is a fairly quiet ski resort and the après-ski is low key and relaxed.

There are a few options for those of you wanting a bit of a party and a drink, including Bar Peter and Mister X, but most of the time you'll find a lot of the bars have a chillaxed vibe.
