Arabba is one of the best placed ski resorts for exploring the Dolomiti Superski area and is perfect for keen skiers and boarders.
The resort itself is extraordinarily beautiful, with unspoilt landscapes and an uncommercialised resort centre. This compact, friendly village offers a small selection of non-ski activities and even has it's own natural ice skating rink.
Skiing and snowboarding in Arabba
Arabba has some of the most interesting slopes of the resorts that make up the celebrated Sellaronda circuit. It is a real skiers’ holiday base and boasts excellent, challenging pistes aimed towards intermediate to advance skiers and boarders. We don't recommend Arabba for beginners, but the Dolomites has plenty of other incredible resorts for first-timers including Kronplatz and Selva.
You'll marvel at the stunning slopes of the mighty Marmolada glacier which are within easy reach.
The highly recommended Hidden Valley is close by too. Part of the spectacular Dolomiti Superski area, the modern lift system ensures Arabba links easily to the Sella Ronda, with Canazei in the Val di Fassa to the West, and Corvara in the sunny Alta Badia ski area to the North.
The fast 'Ornella' run down to Pescoi is one of the big thrills for local skiers – and one of the biggest local challenges.
Where to stay in Arabba
We offer a range of accommodation across resort, all with a variety of facilities. The majority of our properties are located in the centre of resort and they are all available on a half board basis.
Hotel Grifone offers a free shuttle service and provides some fantastic food at dinner when you arrive back after an energetic day on the slopes.
Both the Hotel Sport Arabba and Hotel Evaldo grant access to some fantastic spa and wellness facilities including saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi and Turkish baths. There are also opportunities to book a beauty treatment or massage.
Bars and restaurants in Arabba
As the resort itself it's fairly small, there is a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias to visit during your stay. Arabba is a fairly quiet ski resort and the après-ski is low key and relaxed.
There are a few options for those of you wanting a bit of a party and a drink, including Bar Peter and Mister X, but most of the time you'll find a lot of the bars have a chillaxed vibe.
